The objectives of Global 30 are to strengthen the international
competiveness of Japanese higher education and to offer an education with
standards that appeal to foreign students while, through creating an
environment where Japanese students work together with international
students, fostering highly educated individuals who can be active internationally. The project comprehensively supports the plan to create
universities that act as bases for internationalization by providing
both the high level of education expected from universities and
environments that make studying in Japan more accessible for the overseas
students.
