Colorado State University's (CSU) leadership in research into
alternative energy solutions dates to the 1960s. Now, faculty members in all CSU colleges, from Liberal Arts to Engineering, are developing solutions to
solve some of the world's most challenging environmental problems.
State University (CSU) calls itself "The Green University." CSU is
internationally known for alternative energy and biofuels research, transforming this research into real applications. In
its own operations, CSU strives to minimize its carbon footprint through
active energy conservation and recycling.

The European Commission has adopted on January 17, 2011, the ENPI Interregional Action Programme
for 2011. It covers the European Neighbourhood countries, south and
east, as well as Russia, and is worth €52 million.
